Safe Families is all about connecting families in our community who are struggling or in a crisis with a group of families from the church. These volunteers from the church will surround them with compassion and support and provide a safe place for their children, for a limited time, while they get back on their feet. Many families in our community do not know where to turn when life hits hard, and we want to help them during these times to keep kids safe and families together.

Safe Families online training sessions are available for new and existing volunteers. In these online training sessions, you can learn more about Safe Families, explore how you can get involved, ask any questions you have, and sign up to volunteer.

There are three training options:

  • FAQ, intended for people who want to learn more about Safe Families and explore volunteer opportunities;
  • CORE, required training for all volunteers;
  • Deep Dive, continuous monthly training for all volunteers focusing on different topics each month; and
  • Host/Coach training, offered quarterly.

All trainings will be available through Zoom. FAQ's will be held on the first Thursday of each month. CORE Trainings will be held on the third Thursday of each month.

RSVP above to let us know you’re planning to attend Safe Families training! We will share the Zoom meeting details with you via email.
