Blessed. It’s a word we hear and use often, but do we ever consider what it truly means? How often do we use #blessed with biblical context in our minds? The truth is, blessed means so much more than just superficial happiness; it means we’re spiritually well and prospering.Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes detailed in the book of Matthew give us a biblical framework for how God views being blessed, and it’s certainly different from what our world tells us being blessed looks like. This July, we will discover what being blessed truly means and how the Beatitudes help us become better disciples.

At Crossings, we don’t do membership, we do commitment—a shared commitment to walk together as disciples of Jesus. Discipleship is the intentional pursuit of knowing Jesus deeply and becoming more like him. It is more than holding a set of beliefs—it's actively choosing to walk in his footsteps every single day. Jesus himself modeled this path through three practices: weekly worship, community, and a personal relationship with God. Join us this fall as we explore how adopting Jesus’ way of life transforms our own.
This summer at Crossings, each message brings something new, but the goal remains the same: to help you grow in your faith and take your next step with God.
