Thanks to your incredible generosity this year, your one dollar bills have gone far and impacted many ministries in our community. Here’s an exciting Dollar Club update to let you know more about each of these ministries.

Mechanics In Action

Mechanics in Action is a ministry that was started many years ago by a few church members who saw the need to serve in a unique way. Four times a year a group of volunteers from Crossings meet at a local automotive shop and provide a free oil change to single mothers, widows, and active military spouses who attend Crossings. This ministry has been a blessing to many people over the years, and we have loved being a part of it. If you want to help or may know someone who needs help, please contact the church.

Hope for a Change

The second ministry we have been able to support through the Dollar Club is Hope for a Change. This faith-based, non-profit organization was started by Stephanie Estrin and is dedicated to serve those who have been affected by homelessness, trafficking, addiction, or other trauma. Our Crossings Edmond students and Missions Outreach Team recently worked with Hope for a Change to provide food and hygiene packs thanks to the funds provided by the Dollar Club.

DHS Child Welfare Workers

Finally, we had the opportunity to share the Dollar Club through Crossings Community Center in hosting a luncheon for DHS Child Welfare Workers, to show God’s love to workers who have an incredibly difficult job. Oftentimes workers are transporting children to visits or to their foster homes, and they'll buy meals for the children or use their own money to purchase items needed immediately. The Dollar Club donated to help the workers during these times. We hope this little bit of support can go a long way and help the workers feel they are not alone and know we are praying for them and the families they serve.
